A high vaccination rate is one of our main weapons against the ongoing corona pandemic. Among Arcada's staff, students and alumni, there are a number of heroes who volunteer as vaccinators in their spare time. All in order to end the pandemic.
The new learning environment, Arcada Health Tech Hub, offers students, professional occupational therapists and physiotherapists, researchers and companies a space where they can come together around health technology. The centre is built with the support of donations to the fundraising campaign Arcada 25 launched in celebration of Arcada’s 25th anniversary.
The Ministry of Justice and The Non-Discrimination Ombudsman are today launching an anti-racist campaign aimed at young adults. Arcada participates in the campaign by raising these issues in our channels and encouraging students and staff to share their thoughts and experiences of racism.

Bachelor level:
Arcada's Rector Mona Forsskåhl has been elected to the Board of the Rectors’ Conference of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences Arene. The new board took office on 1 January.
The application period to Arcada's bachelor's degree programmes International Business and Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering has now begun, and will remain open until 25th February 2022.
Soft skills are essential in the workplace of the future. To accommodate this need, Arcada together with a group of partners from institutions in the Nordic and Baltic regions is developing a new project helping students to train the required skills.
The Ditepract project began with a kick off meeting in April this year. The project has started quickly and efficiently in accordance with the project plan.
