In 2025, Arcada has made a tangible contribution to society through the ‘Arcada for Ukraine’ campaign, strengthened its sustainability efforts in research and education, and joined Climate University to tackle future climate challenges with new expertise. 2024

The year 2024 was marked by global uncertainty, but also by clear direction and a strong sense of purpose at Arcada. With a new strategy and a focus on internationalisation, research excellence, and societal engagement, the university of applied sciences took significant steps to reinforce its role as a leading advocate for education

Annual report 2023

With a focus on the human encounter, the opening of new innovative learning and research environments and increased support services for students, Arcada took on the year 2023. Several important milestones where reached and the year ended with a record number of students graduated.

2022

The year 2022 brought about many changes both at Arcada and in the outside world. A long-awaited return to campus and a new organisational structure meant a new everyday life to adapt to. The fundraising campaign for Arcada's 25th anniversary continued to be successful and already reached halfway to the goal at the end of the year.

2021

2021 will go down in history as both an exciting year and a turbulent year. Arcada began celebrating its 25th anniversary in the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic – but refused to be in any way inhibited by it. For the second year in a row Arcada had a record number of graduates, with 534 new alumni.

In 2020, Arcada had a record number of graduates – a total of 507 students graduated. This was made possible thanks to the invaluable efforts of our personnel, students and donors.

For Arcada, 2018 was in many ways a year of radical change. A new rector in May, a new organisation in August, a new sports hall and a successful fundraising campaign were some of the important events that will carry the school into the future.
