In May, 476 solar panels will be installed on Arcada’s roof. The investment in sustainable energy is important from an environmental point of view, and the solar energy system will also be used in teaching, research and development work at the university of applied sciences.
This spring students of Media Culture at Arcada University of Applied Sciences are working on the comprehensive multimedia project 100 min 100 år (100 minutes 100 years). The project is part of Finland’s official “100 Programme”, and highlights the country’s 100-year celebration.

Arcada Summer School gives you the opportunity to study throughout the whole year! Apart from the traditional in-class teaching, we will also offer online-courses, which gives you the opportunity to study when it suits you the best – even outside in a hammock.
During the second application period, starting Wednesday 15.3.2017 Arcada University of Applied Sciences offers four Master's degree programmes. Our Master's degrees are intended for you who already have a Bachelor's degree and three years of working experience.
According to preliminary stats Arcada’s bachelor’s degree programmes in English attracted 605 first-hand applicants in total this year, compared to 583 last year. The total amount of applicants to Arcada was 1,818.
