Arcada is one of the official members of the EuSim network.
Patient safety
Patient safety refers to a genuine concern for patients’ well-being. Working safely means recognising and anticipating the hazards present in healthcare activities. In a culture based on patient safety, both the organisation and the individual are committed to continuous improvement to minimise risks.
Learning
The Centre’s teaching follows the constructivist-realist learning ideology. Together with experienced simulation instructors and teachers, both individual and team clinical skills are developed. Patient safety is practised and reinforced through various simulation scenarios. The Centre offers a safe environment that fosters a positive learning atmosphere.
