Develop your skills as a simulation instructor with EuSim courses! Our introductory, advanced, and refresher courses provide practical tools for planning, facilitating, and developing high-quality simulation-based learning in healthcare.

About the Courses

The EuSim simulation instructor training program consists of three separate courses: a basic course, an advanced course, and a refresher course. The program supports the development of simulation learning skills in stages, from the basics to advanced instruction and skill maintenance.

The courses provide practical tools for the design, implementation, and debriefing of simulation exercises and strengthen the instructor’s pedagogical skills. The goal is to develop safe, goal-oriented, and effective learning in healthcare simulation environments.

Please note that the courses are held in Finnish.

Who is this programme for

The EuSim simulation instructor courses are designed for healthcare and social and health care professionals who are currently working as simulation learning instructors or are about to begin in this role. The courses are suitable for both instructors building foundational skills, more experienced instructors, and those looking to refresh their skills.

The basic course does not require prior experience in simulation facilitation, while the advanced course is designed for experienced facilitators. The refresher course is suitable for those who have completed the basic or advanced course and wish to deepen and update their skills.

The courses are taught in Finnish, so participants must be proficient in Finnish.

Lectors

The EuSim faculty at Arcada are: Christoffer Ericsson, Annika Skogster, Jessica Silfver, Pernilla Stenbäck and Niko Loimijoki.
