Following the government's mid-term review and framework decision, significant cuts will be made to the higher education sector over the next three years. As a result, The Board of Arcada University of Applied Sciences Ltd has decided to expand and prolong the ongoing change negotiations.

As a result of the mid-term review, the Board has decided to expand and prolong the ongoing change negotiations. According to the new decision, as many as 20 people (previously 16) may face redundancy, while 25 people (previously 20) may face significant changes in their tasks and/or essential terms of contract.

Due to the change in the terms of the negotiations, additional time for the negotiations is required. In practice, the negotiations will be extended by two weeks and concluded on 26 May.

More information about the change negotiations can be found in this press release published 25 March 2025.
