New forces guide the governing bodies at Arcada forward

The board of administration has appointed new chairpersons and members for the governing bodies of Arcada University of Applied Sciences. There will be clear continuity in the organisation as all chairpersons have previously held a position of trust at the UAS. At the same time, both the board of administration and the UAS's board are strengthened with new expertise.
The new trio of chairpersons all have extensive experience in board work at Arcada and thus contribute valuable perspectives on the UAS's operations and development goals.
The board of administration, which oversees the operations of the Arcada Foundation, will be led by Astrid Thors in the future. New members of the board are Daniel Sazonov, Christina Gestrin, and Camilla Wardi.
The Arcada Foundation's board will be led by Marcus Rantala, who steps down from the chairperson position on the UAS's board. The other members will continue.
The chairperson position on Arcada’s board will be transitioned to former vice-chair Alexander Bargum. New members joining the board are Susanna Korpivaara and Anders Portin. The final composition of the board will be decided on 17 May.
