Not All Who Wander Are Lost

This famous line written by J.R.R. Tolkien, which appears in the first novel in the Lord of The Ring series, has been a way of encapsulating the idea of surrendering to your wanderlust. However, it can be argued that the true meaning of the line is that all who wander without an aim are lost.

100 years of health checks and support for Finnish families

This year marks the 100th anniversary of mother and child health guidance in Finland. The work has changed over the years, but it is still just as important for families and children, says Arcada's Public Health Nursing alumna Jannika Kuhlefelt and student Julina Fagerlund. They work at what was once Finland's first maternity and child health clinic in Kallio.
