Application and admission step by step – International Business
This list will go through everything from eligibility to registering for the academic year.
Are you eligible?
Check that you are eligible to apply to International Business.
Do you meet Arcada's English language requirements?
Make sure that you meet our English language requirements. If you need to take a language test, sign up in time and make sure that the result is verifiable in the test provider's database.
Through which selection method will you apply?
Decide whether you will apply based on
- SAT test score or
- OMPT test score or
- upper secondary/high school/12-year education certificate/diploma that meets Arcada's requirements.
Have you got your supporting documents ready?
Application through SAT
If you apply through SAT, attach a copy of your SAT result. Note that you cannot submit your application without attaching this document (except if you are applying with the May 2026 SAT test – in this case you should upload proof of the test appointment). Make sure to also send the score through the SAT database, Arcada's test code is 7151.
Application through OMPT
If you apply through OMPT, attach a copy of your OMPT result. Note that you cannot submit your application without attaching this document. The score must be verifiable through the OMPT database.
Application through certificate/diploma
If you apply through certificate/diploma, attach a copy of your upper secondary/high school/12-year education certificate/diploma or predicted grades. Note that you cannot submit your application without attaching one of these documents. Only degrees from Estonia, India, Latvia, Morocco, Turkey or Vietnam are accepted in this application round.
Other required documents
You should also upload scanned copies of your:
- degree certificate (if you apply through SAT or OMPT)
- English language certificate (unless you can prove your English language skills in another way accepted by Arcada)
- Valid passport/identity document
- Documents proving exemption from application and tuition fee (if applicable)

Have you got the right Studyinfo link?
When you have received your SAT or OMPT test result and your proof of English language proficiency, you can apply to the International Business programme through Studyinfo at any time during the application period. Fill in the form yourself, using your own contact information:
- International Business (the link will be activated during the application period)
If you are obliged to pay an application fee, remember to pay it when you submit your application.
Did you pass the interview?
All applicants will be invited to and have to pass an online interview. Learn more about the interview here.
Accept your admissions offer
Congratulations – you did it! Welcome to Arcada University of Applied Sciences. Remember to accept you admissions offer before 9 July 2026 at 3 p.m. (UTC+3).
Pay tuition fees (if applicable)
Remember to pay your tuition fees before 9 July 2026. To benefit from the early-bird discount of €1,500 an applicant needs to accept the offer of a study place and pay the tuition fee within 14 days. More information about tuition fees and discounts can be found on our Tuition fees page.
Register for the academic year
Remember to register for the academic year when you accept the study place offer. The deadline for registering for the academic year is 9 July 2026 at 3 p.m. (UTC+3).
Tuition fee-paying students will be registered as attending once Arcada has received the tuition fee.
