Online pre-admission course for Nursing TopUp – register now!

Are you interested in studying nursing at Arcada in 2026? Do you already have a Nursing degree completed outside of the EU/EEA? Then our Nursing TopUp programme might be just the right one for you!

In order to apply to Arcada’s bachelor’s degree programme Nursing TopUp, applicants must first take an online pre-admission course. Applicants can register for the course during 1 October–16 November 2025.

The course is online, consisting of study units that applicants can complete at their own pace. However, half of the course has to be completed before applying to Nursing TopUp.

The application to Nursing TopUp is open 7–21 January 2026. After having submitted their applications, applicants will complete the last part of the pre-admission course – studies in Finnish – and participate in an online interview, after which they can be admitted and start their studies on Arcada’s campus in Helsinki in autumn 2026.

The studies take approximately one year and cost €11,000 or €13,000, depending on previous study background. The Nursing TopUp programme is a perfect choice for you who already have a Nursing degree completed outside of the EU/EEA and wish to obtain a Finnish Bachelor of Health Care. The degree qualifies you to work as a registered nurse in Finland and other EU countries.
