The application is open between 27 March and 23 April 2025 (3 p.m. UTC+3). You submit your application in Studyinfo .

We accept the following certificates:

  • Finnish Matriculation examination
  • Finnish vocational upper secondary education
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma education (IBO)
  • European Baccalaureate (EB) education
  • Reifeprufung/Deutsches Internationales Abitur.

In addition, you must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of English. Read more on our application pages.

Coastal reed harvesting and the utilisation of reed accelerate the blue economy – the first Reed Fair in Helsinki

Reed is a versatile and renewable raw material. Utilising it can help reduce nutrient loading in the Baltic Sea and replace fossil-based raw materials. The Reed to Revenue - BalticReed Fair will be held at Arcada University of Applied Sciences on 29 January, gathering professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs and decision-makers to explore the sustainable utilisation of reed materials and their business potential. Arcada's sustainability work highlighted in national collection of articles

A new collection of articles on sustainable development highlights how Finnish universities of applied sciences are working to promote a more sustainable society. The collection, published as part of Arene's sustainability and responsibility programme, contains a total of 29 articles from 20 universities of applied sciences, including Arcada.
