Privacy notice for the ZekkiPro well-being survey within the 4Q collaboration.

5. Purposes of the processing of personal data

The data and results of the ZekkiPro well-being survey are used to strengthen students' well-being and to develop the support services offered to students. The data obtained from the survey are also used for research and development on students' well-being and well-being services.

The processing of personal data is based on the student's consent.

7. Categories of personal data and the duration of data retention

The survey does not collect data that can be used to directly identify the student.
The data processed is

  1. Background information: year of commencement of studies, degree in progress, location of campus, type of study, gender, age, mother tongue, previous highest level of education and need for special support during previous studies
  2. Survey responses

The data is stored for research purposes usually 10-15 years after the research has been completed.

ZekkiPro – digital tool for self-assessment of well-being.

9. Sources of data

The information is obtained from the student when filling in the survey.

10. Recipients of personal data

Diakonia University of Applied Sciences maintains the ZekkiPro tool and is responsible for compiling the survey responses for the participating 4Q universities of applied sciences, Arcada University of Applied Sciences, Diakonia University of Applied Sciences, Humanistinen University of Applied Sciences and Kajaanin University of Applied Sciences. The data may be processed for research and development purposes by these four universities of applied sciences.
Data may also be disclosed to authorities for statutory reasons, e.g. for statistical purposes.

11. Transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA and the grounds for the transfer

Personal data is not transferred outside the EU and EEA.

12. Principles for the protection of personal data

The survey does not collect data of which students can be directly identified.
Material in paper form is not collected.
Material in electronic form is protected with user rights, passwords, two-step authentication, monitoring and firewalls.

13. Automated decision-making

Automated decisions are not made and profiling is not done based on personal data in the register.
