About the course:
This course emphasizes a hands-on, studio-like environment for creativity and production. Through lecturers and individual assignments you will learn to master Adobe Creative Cloud applications—Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
The course also explores new technologies shaping digital design, including AI-driven creativity and generative design, which are redefining how visual stories are told. You will delve into responsive and adaptive design theory, equipping you to create impactful work across diverse platforms and audiences.
Whether you're drawn to media production, digital art, or design innovation, this course prepares you for the future of creative industries.
We will practice skills such as
- Image creation, retouching and editing with the latest technologies
- Vector graphics creation - logos, infographics, marketing material etc.
- Video / Motion graphics editing
Teaching form:
This is an on campus course, taking place at Arcada University if Applied Sciences. Every course participant will have a workstation of their own in the classroom, and in addition you will be able to install Adobe Creative Cloud on your own computer during the whole course.
During the course you can choose to work on assignments in groups, but every participant will create their own individual assignments.
The sessions will be taught twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 13-17. (Except on non-working holidays) Besides that, reserve time to work with your own assignments that will be submitted to the platform itslearning.
As a course participant you will also have access to LinkedIn Learning with hundreds of online courses about digital tools.
