Application and admission step by step – Joint application

This list will go through everything from eligibility to registering for the academic year.

Are you eligible?

Check that you are eligible to apply on the programme-specific Apply to pages.

Do you meet Arcada's language requirements?

Make sure that you meet our language requirements as described on the programme-specific Apply to pages.
All programmes require English language skills, but Nursing TopUp also requires Finnish language skills. 

 If you need to take a language test, sign up in time and make sure that the result is verifiable in the test provider's database.

Have you got your supporting documents ready?

Attach all required copies of your educational certificates to your application in Studyinfo. You will see them listed in your application. In general you should attach both the final certificate/diploma as well as transcript of records, or predicted grades if you have not completed your degree at the time of application.

Other required documents

You should also upload scanned copies of your:

  • Valid passport/identity document and proof of exemption from tuition fees (if applicable)
     
  • Language certificate/s (if needed)
     
  • Work certificates for Nursing TopUp

Apply through Studyinfo

Submit your application through Studyinfo during 7–21 January 2026. The link to the application will be added here later on.

If you are obliged to pay an application fee, remember to pay it by the given deadline.

Accept your admissions offer and pay the fees (if applicable)

Congratulations – you did it! Welcome to Arcada University of Applied Sciences. Remember to accept you admissions offer before 9 July 2026 at 3 p.m. (UTC+3).

If you are obliged to pay tuition fees, remember to pay before 9 July 2026. To benefit from the early-bird discount of €1,500 an applicant needs to accept the study place offer and pay the tuition fee within 14 days. The early bird does not apply to the TopUp programmes.

Register for the academic year

Remember to register for the academic year when you accept the study place offer. The deadline for registering for the academic year is 9 July 2026 at 3 p.m. (UTC+3).
