I am the Vice Rector of Arcada responsible for degree education and passionate about working in knowledge organizations. The academic context, where I have actively participated in many educational and research roles, is going through dramatic change over the next 10 years. This makes this environment even more interesting and opens up for real change management.
My long and broad experience from a wide variety of activities – e.g. teaching on bachelor, master and executive levels, developing and leading a new master's program, leading research projects and participating in board work in both the academic and business context – gives a solid platform to adapt and pro-actively develop the services offered at Arcada. I feel very motivated to lead this change with my colleagues and develop both educational and research activities in line with the digital evolution.
