Amin Majd is currently a senior researcher and lecturer at Arcada University of Applied Sciences on smart swarms of autonomous vehicles with a broad background in computer science.
He joined the University of Turku as a PhD student in 2015, and he got his PhD in 2019. Before that, he was a university lecturer at Shahid Bahonar University (Kerman) in Iran from 2013-2015. Also, he has worked as a project manager and system developer from 2003 to 2015 at Persia Noor Company in Iran.
He is professional in solving high-dimensional complex problems by applying meta-heuristic optimization methods, machine learning, deep learning, and parallel computing on the problems such as:

He has the potential to come up with other novel and creative ideas, and he introduced DIANA as a distributed autonomous safe navigation framework.
