5. Purposes of processing personal data

The personal data is used to process applications when recruiting students to internships offered through the ANCHOR project from the moment the application is submitted until the candidate to be employed is chosen. 

Additionally, personal data is processed when individuals register to participate in the ANCHOR project piloting new internship concepts, to receive event invitations, or to be offered internship opportunities.

The legal basis for processing personal data is the data subject’s consent.

7. Categories of personal data and the duration of storage

For applicants to internships, the following data are processed: 
1.    Basic information (name, address, phone number, e-mail address) 
2.    Application (cover letter) 
3.    Resumé (CV) 
4.    Communication within the recruitment team 
5.    Evaluation of the candidates 

The information is stored for six months following the completion of the recruitment process. 

For students who participate in the project piloting the following data are processed: 
1.    Basic information (name, e-mail address) 
2.    Field of study and year of study 
3.    Practical training and/or thesis topic interests
4.    Information relating to previous practical training periods

8. IT systems used when processing personal data

MIRA Network CRM – Contact register (used for project piloting) 

9. Data sources

The data is provided by the data subject when applying for the internship or registering to participate in the project piloting. 

10. Recipients of the personal data

The personal data of the candidates shortlisted for an internship is transferred to the organization providing the internship for evaluation and final selection.  

The personal data of students participating in the project piloting is not shared with third parties. The information helps the ANCHOR team focus its efforts on establishing partnerships with companies that can offer internship opportunities based on students’ fields of study and interests.

11. Transfer of personal data outside the EU and the EEA and the basis for the transfer

Personal data is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA without the data subject’s consent.

12. Principles for the protection of personal data

Material in electronic format is stored in IT systems and on computers protected from unauthorized use with security measures including firewalls and passwords. The systems have different user levels, and users are granted access to the data only to the extent the user’s work tasks require.

Material in paper format is stored in locked rooms with limited access and access control.

13. Automated decision-making

Automated decisions and profiling are not made based on personal data within the register.
