URHEA: Combine your elite athletic career with flexible studies
Arcada encourages elite athletes to pursue a degree alongside their athletic career. No matter your field of study, our doors are open. We have extensive experience in supporting top athletes throughout their higher education.
Arcada has been a proud member of the Urhea Metropolitan Sports Academy since 2003. The academy’s mission is to support athletes in their efforts to combine elite sports with studies and everyday life, and to develop training facilities in the Capital Region.
Elite athlete students at Arcada receive support in flexibly combining their studies with their athletic careers. This includes personalized study counseling where coaches are involved to ensure the study path is as flexible and smooth as possible. Arcada also offer training facilities on or near the campus and is committed to being flexible and showing understanding toward elite athletes' schedules, absences, and training needs.
