To generate scientific and technical knowledge on reed-based polymer composites enabling their use in industrial applications by SMEs.

Specific Objectives
1. Develop and optimize reed-reinforced polymer composites using locally sourced reed.
2. Evaluate the influence of processing parameters on mechanical, thermal, human-material interaction, and environmental performance.
3. Investigate food contact potential, certification requirements, and pathways for material approval.
4. Investigate recycling and end-of-life strategies, including material reprocessing and reuse in new applications.
