Reed to revenue – a reed fair organised by BalticReed

29.01.2026 12:00-17:00 - Big Square and Big Auditorium

Welcome to the Reed to revenue event 29.1.2026 12:00-17:00 at Arcada. BalticReed project organises, as the final project event, a reed fair where you will meet entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers and designers from the Baltic Sea area as they present their work with reed. The event has both a seminar programme and a fair.

During the event, you will hear results of the BalticReed project, learn about reed as material from entrepreneurs, panel discussions, fair table exhibitors and new reed businesses pitch their companies in the pike tank competition.

Programme and registration is found here Reed to Revenue – BalticReed Fair – Central Baltic (please register to the event by 16 January 2026).

The event is organised by John Nurminen Foundation, Race for the Baltic, Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Southwest Finland, County Administrative Board of Östergötland, Ålands landskapsregering and Arcada University of Applied Sciences. The BalticReed project is organising this event as it has been recognised by the EU Interreg Central Baltic Programme as an Operation of Strategic Importance – a “Star project for a healthier Baltic Sea”.
