The goal of this conference is to bring together health care professionals and researchers from Nordic countries interested in supporting lifestyle changes. The conference highlights the importance of healthcare professionals’ skills in lifestyle changes and introduces the latest research and practical applications of behavior change approach in health care.

A further goal is to give the participants a glance in behavioral change techniques for supporting the change. You get to try these techniques in practice in a workshop.

The conference consists of two parts: the first day consists of inspiring lectures by leading researchers in the field and the second day focuses on practical skills for health behavior change. The workshop on the second day (March 25th) will be arranged on Arcadas campus. During the conference networking meetings are arranged after the first conference day to further facilitate future collaborations in this field.

We follow the development and recommendations regarding COVID-19 and act accordingly when necessary.

The conference is arranged in cooperation between Arcada University of Applied Sciences, Mälardalen University and Folkhälsan.
