Sofie Sundström

My role includes both counselling and academic advising. I work as a study counsellor for the programmes Energy and Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering and Sustainability, Process and Materials Engineering, Social Work (daytime students), Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering, and Materials Processing Technology.

My main responsibilities include:
• Individual counselling and counselling in groups
• Creating individual study plans
• Following up the students’ academic progress
• Identifying and contacting students who need additional support
• Working with the programmes to develop and ensure a high quality of the programmes
• Contributing to the development and implementation of support measures and services for students with executive functioning challenges
