Studying at Arcada

Arcada is an international university of applied sciences with 2700 students and 190 members of staff. A good 10 per cent of our students are of foreign origin and represent more than 40 nationalities.

We offer a practical and innovative higher education that provides the skills that are essential to working life. As a student at Arcada you will gain the theoretical knowledge that can be applied in working life, and practical training constitutes a substantial part of the degree programme. With the constantly shifting labour market in mind, we encourage our students to cross subject boundaries and adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to their studies. We support an ongoing development of knowledge through research and development and want to give both students and staff the opportunity to be involved in innovative and exciting projects.

There are good opportunities for you to study as an exchange student at one of our partner colleges of tertiary education around the world. There are plenty of opportunities to establish working life contacts both nationally and internationally and only you set the limits on how far you want to go.

At Arcada you learn for life!
