For guests and visitors: Information regarding the coronavirus
Until further notice, Arcada will keep the campus open in accordance with the instructions of the authorities and in line with the decision made jointly by all Rectors of the UAS in Finland and Arene. If studies can be carried out remotely, courses will be moved online at the decision of the head of department. The students concerned are informed by e-mail.
When exams or lectures are held in class special attention is paid to the general instructions on how reduce the risk of infection.

Arcada has a contingency plan for the coronavirus (COVID-19) based on national guidelines and recommendations.
Due to the increased risk of coronavirus and seasonal influenza spreading, Arcada cancels all visits from guests from abroad, including lecturers and partner visits, for the next three weeks. By the 27th of April, further instructions will be given regarding this matter.
At Arcada, the education and other activities continue as usual until further notice, and our security team is constantly monitoring the development of the virus. We will inform here on the website if any development that directly affects the UAS takes place.
If you suffer from any cold symptoms, please cure yourself at home to avoid unnecessary worry spreading and to minimize the risk of infection. We ask everyone who visits Arcada to pay special attention to good hand hygiene and to avoid handshakes and we remind you of the importance of sneezing and coughing in the crook of your elbow. As an extra safety precaution, we also ask that you postpone your visit to Arcada if you have recently returned from a trip abroad.
It is part of Arcada's and our shared social responsibility to support the work in reducing the spread of infection. We actively inform staff and students about the situation and has taken measures such as travel restrictions and other recommendations based on the authorities' guidelines.
