Arcada uses different methods for selection of students, depending on the degree programme to which the applicant has applied. Read more about student selection.

Applicants will receive their admission results through their profile at and in an e-mail from Arcada Admissions. Please read more about the admission results, times and procedures in the e-mail with attachments.

Admitted students will need to accept the study place and register for the academic year.  Note that there are restrictions regarding registering as absent for the first academic year. Non-EU/EEA-students will also need to pay a tuition fee and apply for a residence permit. The admissions e-mail from Arcada will contain more information on how to apply for a residence permit.

If you think a mistake has been made in the application process or how the selection criteria have been applied, then you should read more about making an appeal.
