Arcada uses different methods for selection of students, depending on the degree programme to which the applicant has applied. Read more about student selection.

Applicants will receive their admission results through their profile at and in an email from Arcada Admissions. Please read more about the admission results, times and procedures in the attachments you receive with the emails.

Admitted students will need to accept the study place and register for the academic year.  Note that there are restrictions regarding registering as absent for the first academic year. Non-EU/EEA-students will also need to pay a tuition fee and apply for a residence permit. The admissions email from Arcada will contain more information on how to pay the tuition fees. Information on how to apply for a residence permit can be found on the Finnish Immigration Service website.

If you think a mistake has been made in the application process or how the selection criteria have been applied, then you should read more about making an appeal.
