Aims and lines of action

• During the period 2005-2008 the main objective of the research and development (R&D) will be to accomplish a functional and ideologic shift of paradigm in which the development of knowledge will gain the status of a self-evident foundation for all other activities at Arcada.

• The new R&D activity at Arcada shall comprehend scientific research programmes of international quality as well as development work mainly in areas which benefit the Arcada's main environment which

• The basic R&D activity will be a continuous competence development of the personnel e.g. as academic merit research or as projects in cooperation with external partners.
