Introduction in Psychophysical Psychotherapy 30 credits
Goals:
- Learn to observe and sense physical sensations and movements in the body;
- understand and talk about sensations and movements in the body;
- discover, stay with and develop emotions in the body;
- give words to emotions and their intentions;
- get in touch with and give language to the preverbal communication;
- get in touch with and give language to the non verbal ,unconscious part of communication.
- Learn about breathing, its importance as a defence and as a vehicle for understanding emotions and sensations in the body; and how to work with breathing patterns.
-Learn to use the non verbal and preverbal discourse in verbal therapy.
-Learn internal and external techniques to promote body process in therapy.
| This training is open to: Psychotherapists, and students in psychotherapy training. For other people with clinical experience (f.e. psychiatric nurses) there will be a personal interview previous to acceptance. |
