Business Administration
The programme provides you with a solid understanding of the different areas of an enterprise. We are looking for innovative persons with an international perspective who want to gain advanced professional skills of a higher educational standard. Among other things, studies will prepare you for expert and leading positions in commerce and industry. Moreover, a central goal is to provide sound skills in IS/IT-applications and preparation for private entrepreneurial activity. The curricula also include language studies.
Specialization option in marketing
For most enterprises and organizations, more extensive and sophisticated forms of customer and marketing management are increasingly common. Both external marketing and the internal flow of information create a demand for skilled professionals in communications, marketing and advertising. New interactive media such as the Internet create new professional demands as well. Professionals with skills in these areas and with a broadly based foundation in business administration can e.g. work as product specialists, key account managers and project leaders.
Specialization option in financial management
All leading decision-makers in an enterprise need a good understanding of business administration in general and the control of the finances of their own enterprise in particular. The degree programme provides an overview of company finances and practical skills in financial management. Central themes are budgeting and cost control, financing and investment, financial systems, taxation, company law, human resources and accounting. After graduation you can e.g. work as a controller, chief accountant and finance manager.
Specialization option in international business logistics
Business logistics forms a holistic approach to business administration. It describes four basic flows between members of a distribution channel: product, services, information, and cash. A company can achieve both cost efficiency and better customer service by improving logistical processes related to these flows. Important areas of business logistics are purchasing, materials administration, transportation, and distribution. Within all these areas, and in particular related to e-business, IS/IT-applications are important. When graduated, you can work as an expert or manager in e.g. supply chain management, purchasing, exports, and distribution.
