Admission Criteria
Depending on your educational background you will be selected according to one of the admission criteria below.
Admission on the basis of total of points for school performance and the entrance examination
If you have completed (please click for details on points)
a) the Finnish Matriculation examination,
b) the IB or Reifeprüfung examination in Finland,
C) the European Baccalaureate examination in an European school
You gain admission on the basis of total points for school performance and the entrance examination.
If you are completing the Finnish Matriculation, IB, EB or Reifeprüfung exam in the spring of 2012 you will also be admitted on this basis.
You will receive a maximum of 30 points for school performance and a maximum of 100 points for the entrance examination, which is scaled down to a maximum of 70 points. The maximum is therefore 100 points.
Admission on the basis of the entrance examination
You will be admitted on the basis of your score in the entrance exam if you are:
a) applying with a Finnish vocational degree
b) applying with non-Finnish education
The maximum entrance examination points is 100. A pass in an English language level test is required for admission, see language requirements.
